Q. What is the price?
A. Prices range from £23.00 to £45.00 per
person per night depending upon time of year, type of
room, length of stay and number of people .
Q. What is included in the price?
A. Bed and breakfast and all taxes.
Q. Is VAT included in the price?
A. Yes, our prices are inclusive of VAT.

Q. How do we get to your Guest House from the railway
station?
A.
From the railway station either take a taxi which
will take about 7 minutes to reach the Guest House or
walk up on to Princes Street and take a number 3, 29, 31, 37 or 37A bus. Get
off at the second bus stop on Minto Street. The Guest
House is located about 50 yards down the road on your
left.
Q. How do we get to your Guest House from the bus station?
A. From the bus station either take a taxi which will take about 10 minutes or walk down onto Princes Street and you can take a number 3, 29, 31, 37 or 37A bus. Get off at the second bus stop on Minto Street. The Guest House is located about 50 yards down the road on your left.
Q. How do we get to your Guest House from the airport?
A. Take the airport bus and get off at Waverley bridge.
From there follow the instructions from the railway
station.
Q. How do we get to the Guest House from the Forth
Road Bridge?
A. From the bridge follow the signs for City Bypass
South. Once you are on the bypass drive for about 6
miles until you get to the Straiton exit. Come off the
bypass at the Straiton exit drive down to the bottom
of the ramp and turn left. Drive in a straight line
for 3 miles until you come to a roundabout (the Cameron
Toll shopping Centre is on your right hand side) continue
in a straight line going through 2 sets of pedestrian
traffic lights at the next set of lights turn right
into a street called East Mayfield then turn first left
up a lane into the Airlie car park.
Q. How do I get from the A7?
A. Follow the signs for the A7 City Centre to the Cameron
Toll roundabout. Take the second exit off the roundabout. Follow signs and road markings fro old Town. Go through two sets of traffic
lights and at the third set of traffic lights turn left
into East Mayfield. Drive almost to the end of the street
and you will see a white cottage with a lane beside
it. This is on your right hand side, turn up this lane
and drive into the Airlie Car park.
Q. How far are you from the Centre of the City?
A. Princes Street is taken as the centre of the City
and we are 1.25 miles from Princes Street in a straight
line from the east end of Princes Street heading South.
Q. What is the public transport service like?
A. We are located on a busy bus route with buses going
past the Guest House frequently.
Q. What are the bus numbers to the City Centre from
the Guest House?
A. Numbers 3, 29, 31, 37 or 37A all turn left
onto Princes Street. If you are going to the Royal Mile
then you can take any number of bus which passes the
Guest House.
Facilities
Q. Where can I park my car?
A. We have a large private car park at the back of the
Guest House.
Q. What is a full breakfast?
A. A full breakfast
consists of either orange or grapefruit juice, a choice
of cereal, followed by egg, bacon, sausage, potato scone,
fried bread, mushrooms and tomato. Toast with a choice
of jams or marmalade, tea, coffee or hot chocolate complete
the menu.
Q. Are there any sporting facilities nearby?
A. Within a 5 minute walk we have the Royal Commonwealth
Pool and Leisure Centre which has swimming, sauna and
fitness facilities.
Q. Are there any eating establishments in the area?
A. Within a 10 minute walk of the Guest House most tastes
are catered for. There is Indian, Chinese, Scottish/French,
pub food, hotel restaurants, fish and chip shops.
