The
Airlie Guest House is a listed building, part
of a Georgian Terrace. It is TOTALLY NON SMOKING
THROUGHOUT and personally run by proprietors Peter
and Fiona Flynn. A large private car park at the
rear of the house takes the worry out of parking,
making The Airlie and ideal base for exploring
the wonderful City of Edinburgh. |
Start the day in our Dining
Room with a Full Breakfast(orange or grapefruit
juice, a choice of cereal, followed by egg, bacon, sausage,
potato scone, fried bread, mushrooms and tomato. Toast
with a choice of jams or marmalade, tea, coffee or hot
chocolate complete the menu).
We
are located on an excellent bus route with buses passing
the Guest House every few minutes. Only one mile from
the High Street where the Castle and Holyrood Palace
are located. A five minute walk from the Airlie will
take you to the Royal Commonwealth Pool and Leisure
centre where there is an Olympic size swimming pool,
children's pool, diving pool and keep fit facilities.
There are also a variety of eating establishments in
the area ranging from Indian and Chinese to pubs and
fish and chips.
